Monument to the 50th German infantry division.

Veslud is a commune. It is in the Hauts-de-France region in the Aisne department in the north of France. In 2012, 253 people lived there.

The motto « Vetus lucus semper virens » ("Old sacred wood still green") suggests it might have been a place of cult during Antiquity.

A German cemetery was built at the end of World War I, where 1,704 soldiers are buried.
