Yvette Carmen Mimieux^[1] (January 8, 1942 – January 17, 2022) was an American actress. She is known for her role in The Time Machine (1960). She was nominated for three Golden Globe Awards during her acting career. Mimieux was born in Los Angeles, California.

Mimieux died on January 17, 2022 at her home in Los Angeles, nine days after her 80th birthday.^[2]
