The Wright Cadet was a single-decker body of a midibus. It had a low floor. It was made from 2000 to 2008 Wrightbus.
The Wright Cadet body was built on the DAF/VDL SB120 chassis.[1]
Operators[change]
From 2000 to 2008, Arriva UK ordered 366 Wright Cadets.[2]
From 2000 to 2008, Arriva Netherlands ordered 8 Wright Cadets.
From 2000 to 2008, Bus Éireann ordered 35 Wright Cadets.
From 2000 to 2001, UniversityBus of Hatfield ordered 5 Wright Cadets.[3]
Volvo Merit[change]
From 2002 to 2008, Volvo Buses made a single-decker body of a midibus called the Volvo Merit.[1] It had a low floor.
The Wright Merit body was built on the DAF/VDL SB120 chassis.[1]
It was made because Volvo Buses stopping making its own B6BLE chassis and didn't have a replacement chassis and bodywork.[1] Volvo removed the Wright and DAF/VDL badges.[1]
The Merits looked the same as the Cadets.[4][2]

Wright no longer bodied the Dart, so it had to be the similar VDL SB120s, supplied in this case by Volvo as the Merit Midi.
