Uranyl nitrate

Uranyl nitrate is a salt of the cation uranyl, and the nitrate anion. Its formula is UO2(NO3)2. Chemists make it by mixing uranium salts with nitric acid. Uranyl nitrate dissolves in some solvents, like water and ethanol.
