University of Twente
University of Twente (Dutch: Universiteit Twente), shortened to UT, is a technical public university in Enschede, a city in the province of Overijssel, the Netherlands. It borders the municipality of Hengelo.
The University of Twente was established in 1961.
It was called Technical College of Twente (Dutch: Technische Hogeschool Twente) until 1986.
It has about 10,000 students.
Its focus is on technology and social sciences.
