The USS Laboon is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer in the United States Navy.[1]

History[change]

USS Laboon was launched on 20 February 1993. The ship was commissioned on 18 March 1995.[2]

Israel–Hamas war (2023-24)[change]

The USS Laboon was attacked by the Houthis on January 6, 2024. The ship participated in the misstile strikes against Yemen on January 12, 2024. The ship was attacked again by the Houthis on January 14, 2024.
