Overview

This template creates a box along the side of the page with links to other pages. It requires a category to be given. Links are automatically loaded in from the contents of the category. If you see a link that should not be in the list, it will need to be removed from the category.

An example for the category Wikipedia policies and guidelines is shown here:

Remember that category names are case sensitive except for the first letter.

Parameters

1 — The text that comes after "Other pages about..." and the default for the category name
image — The file name of the image
image-size (optional) — The size of the image (defaults to 150px)
caption — The caption for the image
category (optional) — The name of the category if it isn't the same as the 1 parameter
hidesub (technical) — Set this to "yes" to hide subcategories, otherwise leave blank
