This other website template is underused, compared to the number of links to the site it represents (check here). Please help convert those links to make use of this template, for ease of tracking, and ease of interoperability with Wikidata.

Usage[change]

Use this template to add a reference to a species page on the web site GRIN. At the moment, it cannot link to pages on other taxonomic ranks, such as genera and families.

Syntax[change]

Simple

Simply use the tag by itself or leave the id parameter blank to generate a citation/link of Wikidata's corresponding GRIN link for the current plant species. Wikidata: has GRIN links for most of the Wikipedia species on the GRIN database.

Parameters

By default Citation Style 1; switch to Citation Style 2 with |mode=cs2.

|id=

the id of the species on GRIN web site.

How to retrieve the id: use the search page to retrieve the correct page.
In the url https://npgsweb.ars-grin.gov/gringlobal/taxonomydetail.aspx?3074 the id is 3074

Sample (for ananas): 3074

If the genus is considered as unaccepted or synonym by GRIN, add nv.
