Redfield is a city in Bourbon County, Kansas, United States. In 2020, 90 people lived there.[3]
History[change]
Redfield was founded in 1866.[4] The city was named for Dr. Redfield, an early settler.[5] The first post office in Redfield was created in 1872.[6] Throughout the 20th century, the town was served by the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
Geography[change]
Redfield is at Lua error: callParserFunction: function "#coordinates" was not found. (37.836556, -94.881987), along the Marmaton River. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.14 square miles (0.36 km2). All of it is land.[2]
Climate[change]
Redfield has hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system says that Redfield has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.[7]

2020 census[change]
As of the 2020 census, there were 90 people, 39 households, and 25 families living in the city. Of the households, 82.1% owned their home and 17.9% rented their home.
The median age was 42.7 years. Of the people, 86.7% were White, 3.3% were Native American, and 10.0% were two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.1% of the people.[3][8]

As of the 2010 census says that there were 146 people, 53 households, and 33 families living in the city.[9]
