MathXplore has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: Reliability of the references should be checked. MathXplore (talk) 11:24, 31 January 2022 (UTC)

Please discuss this request below, but keep in mind that you shouldn't vote on everything and that there may be options other than "keep" or "delete", such as merging.

Discussion[change]

  • File:Symbol keep vote.svg Keep It was my homework to create an article in Simple Wiki by using local sources. I've checked the reliability carefully with the translator. References are mostly taken from the top local media Berlingske. --Nacho Vono Meny (talk) 12:22, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
    • If someone told you to make this article, that could be advertisement, which is not allowed at Wikimedia projects. In addition, writing articles with machine translation like Google Translate are not accepted. MathXplore (talk) 05:13, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
  • File:Symbol delete vote.svg Delete - The article does not explain how he possibly can be notable. If someone wonders if he is mentioned zero times at Danish-wiki and zero times at English-wiki: The answer seems to be, zero mention. 89.8.159.97 (talk) 04:15, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
No one has a free card to write spammy articles: It does not help if one claims that one is a student or doctor or whatever. 89.8.159.97 (talk) 04:30, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
  • USERFY based on claim made by article creator. If it is a homework assignment, we should let them finish their assignment, but there is no need to waste mainspace with it. Blissyu2 (talk) 12:48, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
NOT USERFY when non-notable articles seem quite SPAMMY - that might be a better way to go. 89.8.159.97 (talk) 13:38, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
If the alleged "homework assignment" gets deleted, then the user now has a relevant text on his/her userpage, but without vanity mention of persons that the user might be close to. 89.8.159.97 (talk) 13:56, 1 February 2022 (UTC) 89.8.159.97 (talk) 13:57, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
Oppose userfying if article will not eventually contribute to Wikipedia. As an example we allow class projects here if the resulting articles will help build the encyclopedia. We do not allow people to use Wikipedia to store their own projects that will not be useful to the project. -- Auntof6 (talk) 08:11, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
Yes specifically that is because of NOTWEBHOST. --IWI (talk) 08:42, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
  • File:Symbol keep vote.svg Keep this man is a Nustay founder, co-founder of Tacans and SpaceSeven... Berlingske sources are fine also --87.61.141.75 (talk) 12:26, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
But what are those things? Just the fact that he founded things doesn't make him notable. -- Auntof6 (talk) 19:51, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
  • File:Symbol keep vote.svg Keep enough Danish sources to show the person's notability. Danish mentioned here in the article newspapers are both reliable and independent. General notability is shown. --178.157.251.94 (talk) 14:01, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
  • File:Symbol delete vote.svg Delete likely undisclosed paid-for spam. MER-C (talk) 17:42, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
  • File:Symbol delete vote.svg Delete - Had a similar one last week. None of the companies he has founded are notable enough for inclusion, so I think we need to get past that before we even start including their founder. While the sources do back up the claims made, as Auntof6 said, just because he made things does not make him notable. Griff (talk) 19:36, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
