MathXplore has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: Do we really need this redirect? Does not exist on ENWP. MathXplore (talk) 07:15, 10 January 2022 (UTC)

Please discuss this request below, but keep in mind that you shouldn't vote on everything and that there may be options other than "keep" or "delete", such as merging.

  • File:Symbol keep vote.svg Keep from a famous quote. Yes, it isn't on English Wikipedia, but why does that matter? Most wikis have pages not found on English Wikipedia. 58.179.95.13 (talk) 22:54, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
  • MERGE into article about a fifth of alcohol, as this refers to the standard size of alcohol bottles, not just vodka. This could be confusing for non-native English speakers, or even those not familiar with Americanism (like me). I had to look up what this means because I am used to people saying a 700 mL bottle, which is the same thing, and is the standard large alcohol bottle size, usually used for spirits like vodka. I think we need to rework this a bit but I definitely don't think it should be redirected to Eminem. Blissyu2 (talk) 02:46, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
@Blissyu2: There is no "fifth of alcohol" article, neither here nor on English Wikipedia. -- Auntof6 (talk) 02:01, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
The problem I see is: if we are talking about beer, standard sizes would be 0.2-0.3l, and 0.5l; wine: usually a glass of 1-2dl, (distilled) spirits:0.1-0.2cl. Esp. with the distilled spirits, though: it is common to use them for cocktails, where we would again be in the range of 2-4 dl (0.2-0.4l). As long as we don't have an article which defines thes "common" sizes (no idea, how ocmmon they are outside Europe), there's nothing ot merge this article to. --Eptalon (talk) 02:09, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
I created/translated Fifth (unit), which can be used as a redirect target. Eptalon (talk) 22:25, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
  • Redirect per Eptalon's suggestion. Griff (talk) 15:52, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
