File:Symbol delete vote.svg Delete Ordinarily I don't care if we have extra redirects, but I see no evidence in the redirect or its target that the golden birdwing is the national butterfly of Bangladesh. Darkfrog24 (talk) 17:08, 3 July 2021 (UTC)

File:Symbol comment vote.svg Comment: The closest we get to this is that environmental organizations in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany pick an "Animal of the Year" (see de:Tier des Jahres. For 2021: Eurasian otter for Germany, a shrimp-like crustacean living in rivers and lakes, in Switzerland (Gammarus fossarum), and the Edible dormouse for Austria. Note however, that this is at level animal, we don't get to the level butterfly, or predator...--Eptalon (talk) 09:25, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
