Extra Credit (edit · talk · history · links · watch · logs · delete) · close request

Zaxxon0 has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: A short high school skit created by group of students, does not seem notable. Zaxxon0 (talk) 06:17, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

Please discuss this request below, but keep in mind that you shouldn't vote on everything and that there may be options other than "keep" or "delete", such as merging.

Discussion[change]

  • Comment: It was accepted into the Pontchartrain Film Festival. Do we know if that festival is significant? --Auntof6 (talk) 06:53, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
Here's their website. I don't believe it's conferring of notability; considering it's designated for "emerging filmmakers", few results on Google, and that it's website is terribly made, I doubt it's even notable itself. Vermont (talk) 14:16, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
as far as i know ip's can't vote...can an admin confirm? Computer Fizz (talk) 17:44, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
Deletion discussions aren't votes; it's about consensus. An IP who simply writes "keep" and nothing else will very likely not be taken into account by the reviewing administrator. Vermont (talk) 18:02, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
Yeah i know but most people use the word "vote" since it's shorter than "leaving a consensus note for the closing admin". I have seen anons get striked during RFA's and figured it might be the same for RFD's. Computer Fizz (talk) 19:28, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
RfAs are different. You have to have an account before the RfA started to !vote to prevent canvassing from other wikis. Because RfDs are content discussions anyone can take part. -DJSasso (talk) 11:55, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
