Pakistani cat[change]

BRPever has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: The page is probably about Himalayan cat but I am not sure about redirecting. The title of this page is confusing, Pakistani cat can mean any or all cats in Pakistan. Probably a clear-cut case unless the title is another common name. BRP ever 15:14, 21 September 2018 (UTC)

Discussion[change]

  • Redirect to "Colourpoint" as per World Cat Federation. This is the simplest, as other classifications are split as to how best to classify what is really a moving target (because all cat fancy breeds are constantly being "improved"). I will create those pages now, as a basis. Incidentally, if we keep the page as is, it should still be moved. Pakistan has no particular standing as far as cat breed classifications go.     • @Macdonald-ross: Could you explain more why this should be done? This article seems to be about a breed, but "colourpoint" refers to markings that could be on different breeds. --Auntof6 (talk) 13:06, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
Because 'colourpoint' is the WCF breed classification for this pattern of cat. I suppost we could have yet another page titled 'colourpoint (cat breed)'. The point is that the WCF does not list the breeds as separate. Macdonald-ross (talk) 13:21, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
