Please discuss this request below, but keep in mind that you shouldn't vote on everything and that there may be options other than "keep" or "delete", such as merging.
Discussion[change]
- delete. The article violates NPOV and appears to be OR. Nearly the entirety of the article is about a medal and an action with no verification. Does not show notability. Rus793 (talk) 20:50, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
- maintain. Of course maintain, as is done in other five wikis (english, italian, croatian, malta and polish). I wrote this article and sincerely I cannot understand why somebody defines simple "medal" a top gold award given to just a few persons....anyway, I understand British nationalism because I sincerely appreciate Churchill (who btw was a pen-pal of Mussolini until 1937, let's remember it, and who in 1946 made complaints about the Pisani's execution). Even if I am nearly sure that this article will be erased, I add something now. But I want to remember to those who want "verifications" that there are many books (with a simple "google" research I found 12 books and 5 videos) written about Pisani and his action that "does not show notability"....Just read it, please! Finally allow me to suggest -because I think all of you are impartial & clever persons who judge listening to BOTH sides- to read: " manmer2.blogspot.com/ ", in order to understand who REALLY is Vituzzu (the one who has made this deletion request). --ForPisani (talk) 15:36, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
- Thoughts: well, for a start, the above vote has no weight. The article is complex, and of borderline validity. It has weak sources. The section on the medal is utterly unsimple, and should be reduced to a footnote. The article should be simplified. However, I don't see a clear-cut reason for deletion so, rather relectantly, we should keep it. Macdonald-ross (talk) 13:17, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
- Keep: the article is a tangled mess and as is sometimes the case, the English Wikipedia version is better stated and cleaner. (Although ours is an exciting read in the 'His awarded action' section). Who is to say there is not validity in the Bibliography that I cannot access? I maintain that notability is too close to being evident to delete. If cleanup, tangled wording and POV text is a valid reason to delete, I have one lingering in the 'articles with broken file links': Thaddeus (Strabulovich) of Vitovnica. (and no I am not the one who patrolled it). Fylbecatulous talk 15:14, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
- Keep. The article needs work but the subject is notable. Article needs simplification and may have NPOV issues, but the material is encyclopedic. Etamni | ✉ | ✓ 16:10, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
