Papa Don't Preach is a pop single by American singer Madonna.

Overview[change]

Papa Don't Preach deals with abortion and pregnancy. It was released in Madonna's third studio album True Blue (1986), which was also recorded in her album The Immaculate Collection (1990). The song ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks.
