Lempäälä is a municipality in Pirkanmaa, Finland. As of 28 February 2023, 24,629 people lived there. Neighbouring municipalities are Akaa, Kangasala, Pirkkala, Tampere, Valkeakoski and Vesilahti. It was founded in 1866.
