Kirk Douglas

Kirk Douglas (born Issur Danielovitch; December 9, 1916 – February 5, 2020) was an American actor and movie director. Douglas acted in many of Hollywood's well-known movies, including Spartacus. He also starred as Vincent van Gogh in Lust for Life.
His parents were Jews from the Russian Empire. He was the father of actor and producer Michael Douglas.
He came in at #17 on AFI's list of the greatest male American screen legends of all time and was one of two living actors on the list (Sidney Poitier is the other).
In 1995, he was given an Honorary Academy Award. In 1956, he won a Golden Globe Award.
Kirk Douglas died on February 5, 2020 in Beverly Hills, California at the age of 103.[1]
