Kamidana
Kamidana is the name for a shrine or altar used at home, in Shinto religion, mostly in Japan. Usually they look like small versons of the nulidings that hold the shrine. They are used to pray to deceased members of the family, or to local deites, called Kami. A similar concept are house altars found in Buddhism. These can also be found in Japan. They are called Butsudan.
