Hilpoltstein (German pronunciation: [ˈhɪlpɔltˌʃtaɪ̯n] (Audio file "De-Hilpoltstein.ogg " not found)) is a town in Roth, in Bavaria, Germany. It is 10 km southeast of Roth bei Nürnberg and 30 km south of Nuremberg, close to the lake 'Rothsee.
