Fred Flintstone is the main protagonist of The Flintstones franchise. He is an everyday caveman and caring father. He was invented by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera of Hanna-Barbera.

Catchphrase[change]

His famous catchphrase is "Yabba-dabba-doo". Alan Reed came up with it.

Alan Reed, Henry Corden, James Arnold Taylor and Jeff Bergman have voiced him in various media. John Goodman played him in the 1994 movie.
