Doedicurus was an extinct armadillo from the family Glyptodontidae, also known as glyptodonts. Fossils have been found in Patagonia, in South America. These herbivores may have been preyed upon by predators such as Smilodon and Borophagus. Doedicurus was an extremely famous animal during the early Pleistocene, between 2 million and 15,000 years ago.
