Cacheu Region

Location of the Cacheu Region in Guinea-Bissau

Cacheu is a region in western Guinea-Bissau, on the border with Senegal. The regional capital is Cacheu.

As of the 2009 census, 192,508 people lived there. It has an area of 5,174.9 km² (1,998.0 sq mi).
