Arlington is a city in Reno County, Kansas, United States. In 2020, 435 people lived there.[3]

Arlington was created in 1877.[4] It was named after Arlington, Massachusetts.[5] The first post office in Arlington was created in February 1878.[6]

In 1887, the Chicago, Kansas and Nebraska Railway built a railroad from Herington through Arlington to Pratt.[7]

Geography[change]

2020 census[change]

The 2020 census says that there were 435 people, 196 households, and 116 families living in Arlington. Of the households, 69.4% owned their home and 30.6% rented their home.

The median age was 39.8 years. Of the people, 91.7% were White, 0.7% were Black, 0.5% were Native American, 1.6% were from some other race, and 5.5% were two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.1% of the people.[3][8]

2010 census[change]

The 2010 census says that there were 473 people, 200 households, and 124 families living in Arlington.[9]
