The Anatinae is a subfamily of the family Anatidae that including swans, geese and ducks.

They are the dabbling ducks. They feed mainly at the surface rather than by diving. The subfamily contains only the dabbling ducks and one relative, the extinct moa-nalos, land ducks which lived on some Hawaiian islands.[1]
