A Megadiverse Country is a Nation that has many species of plants or animals, for a nation to be considered Megadiverse needs to have at least 5000 of the world's plants as endemics, it also needs to have marine ecosystems within its maritime borders. there are 17 megadiverse countries on Earth, these 17 countries are: Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Democratic Republic Of The Congo, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, South Africa, United States, and Venezuela.
