In algebra, Binomials are polynomials that contains two terms that are monomials being either added or subtracted together.

Notable binomials[change]

  • The difference of two squares is a binomial that contains a squared variable that is being subtracted by another squared variableː <math>x^2-y^2</math>. This binomial is also the product of two linear binomials <math>a+b</math> and <math>a-b</math>.
