Mange Tout (also called snow pea or sugar pea) is a pea which has an edible pod and is eaten when the pod is young and flat. The name in French explains that you can eat the pod too and it translates to 'eat it all.' It is a garden pea which grows well in a small garden. The season for Mange Tout in the UK is between June and September. Mange Tout have to be eaten quickly before they spoil. Fresh Mange Tout should be moist and broken crisply. The colour should be green and not yellow.
