Tamisha Akbar (born April 17, 1970) better known as Tami Roman, is an American television personality, model, businesswoman and actress. Roman first gained fame on The Real World: Los Angeles in 1993. After making cameo appearances and starring in supporting roles in some television programs and movies in the 1990s and 2000s, Roman became one of the stars of Vh1's Basketball Wives.
