Lua error in Module:Nihongo at line 88: attempt to call field '_transl' (a nil value). was a Japanese politician. He was the first opposition member to serve as the President of the House of Councillors in Japan. Eda was the Minister of Justice from January 2011 until December 2011. He was born in Okayama, Japan.

Eda died in Okayama on 28 July 2021 from pneumonia, aged 80.[1]
