Central Macedonia

Central Macedonia is one of the thirteen administrative regions of Greece. It covers the southern part of the geographic region Macedonia. Sometimes, the region is called South Macedonia. Its capital is Thessaloniki. Central Macedonia has borders with Albania, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria. About 2.8 million people live in Central Macedonia.
