Re is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region of Piedmont.
Re is about 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Domodossola and 7 kilometres (4 mi) from the border with Switzerland. As of 2004, 805 people lived there. It has an area of 27 square kilometres (10 sq mi).[1]
