The duchess lorikeet (Charmosyna margarethae) is a species of parrot in the Psittaculidae family.[2]

They are found on Bougainville Island in Papua New Guinea, and in the Solomon Islands. They live in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and plantations. They are threatened by habitat loss.
