Abbas II

Abbas II (14 July 1874 – 19 December 1944) was the last Khedive of Egypt and Sudan (1892-1914). He was largely a puppet of the United Kingdom. The British removed him from power because of his support for the Sultan of Turkey in the outbreak of World War I in 1914. Turkey was an ally of Germany fighting Great Britain.
