Discussion[change]
Absolutely disgusted with all the incredibly aggressive allegations. Article deleted several times, although a lot of references and content totally support this notable person's article. Can't believe how unfair the deletion criteria are. There are countless 2-line paragraph articles with absolutely no notability or relevance whatsoever, that keep being on the site. Hard to tell why, unless you admit a total unfairness is applied.— This unsigned comment was added by Bach1988 (talk • changes).
- See WP:Notability (people) for criteria on people. Also take a look at WP:GNG. -DJSasso (talk) 16:57, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
Please, tell me why, for example, the article Luis Di Giglio in the English version of Wikipedia, among million others is still there; he's a cricketer, "just" that; Saverio, other than being a cricketer himself, he's notable in a lot more fields; so tell me, instead of sending links and stuff like that, why would a much less notable person should be on Wikipedia and a person with far more experience in difference fields should get deleted?! I know you won't answer this question, as you perfectly know I'm right.
- Because Di Giglio can meet WP:GNG and has had articles of significant depth written about him. -DJSasso (talk) 14:48, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
- I hope you're kidding right now! Di Giglio is mentioned in cricket-related pages, which are the same websites that also list Saverio as a cricketer! (Among 30 other relevant pages about him) - Di Giglio has only 3 references, Saverio's article has over 30 of them —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.254.178.48 (talk) 19:52, 27 January 2017
- Delete as not notable. Macdonald-ross (talk) 18:41, 26 January 2017 (UTC)
- Delete: As nominated: not notable.Unreliable sources and exaggerated importance. An exact copy of this article has been recreated on English Wikipedia and again speedily deleted. (Full disclosure: I nominated it after looking up prior deletion discussion: [1] Fylbecatulous talk 12:58, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
- Delete. In addition to all of the above, the most recent enwiki article was created in violation of a block. And while we might have allowed the creator the benefit of the doubt at first, he clearly struck out on one pitch. StevenJ81 (talk) 16:25, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
