Helmet of Coțofenești
Appearance
The Golden Helmet of Coțofenești is a missing Geto-Dacian helmet dating from the second half of the 5th century BC. It was discovered from a village in Prahova County in Romania.[1] It was exhibited at the National History Museum of Romania in Bucharest before being stolen in January 2025 during a robbery at the Drents Museum in Assen, the Netherlands.[2]
